Timeform take you through the card at Yarmouth on Thursday...

13:50 - A useful-looking nursery with KASSAB (7) making most appeal after an eye-catching run behind a good prospect at Windsor. He could have more to offer now handicapping in first-time blinkers with James Doyle up, and can prove too strong for the likes of Gobi Sunset and Modern British Art, who are a couple of others to consider.

14:20 - Plenty of potentially useful colts here and URSA MINOR (8) might have the beating of them all after a couple of good runs at Newmarket behind other promising sorts. Carlos Felix, very well-bred and one of the top lots at the Deauville Breeze-Ups in May, makes plenty of appeal on debut, while Live Your Dream will surely do better after an encouraging debut.

14:50 - ESPIRIT ROSE (3) was an expensive purchase out of a smart mare and shaped with plenty of promise on debut at Haydock earlier this month, taking a keen hold in midfield before making headway over a furlong out. She was carried left after, but kept on in good style, suggesting she won't be long until opening her account. This looks a useful race of its type, but Espirit Rose has plenty going for her and gets the vote. It's too soon to write off Thread of Silver, while newcomer Jamaheery has a fantastic sprinting pedigree.

15:20 - SUMMER MOON (6) was progressing nicely earlier this season, winning his first two starts, including a useful handicap at York. He followed that up with a close third over this trip to a progressive type at Doncaster and, though the wheels have come off since, there's reason to think he can bounce back here. Mark Johnston has done well in this race in the past, and the booking of Ryan Moore catches the eye, too, so Summer Moon is fancied to go close. Eynhallow looks the obvious danger.

15:50 - POTTERS LADY JANE (6) goes well at Yarmouth, recording both of her wins at this track, and she didn't need to improve on her Newmarket effort the time before to open her account for the season over this C&D last time, taking full advantage of a good position in a steadily-run affair. Jamie Spencer once again takes the ride today and another bold bid is expected. Quicksand should be in the mix again while Honfleur is open to further improvement now handicapping.

16:20 - CARDANO (4) has done nothing but improve since making his debut in January earlier this year, winning four times in all, and he proved better than ever to resume winning ways at Newmarket last month. Two of the four runners on that occasion ran below form, so it is hard to gauge how much he did progress, but he certainly arrives here in good form and the booking of Ryan Moore - who rides this track well - adds further credence to his chances.

16:50 - YIMOU (4) has improved out of all recognition since dropped to six furlongs and sent handicapping, completing a hat-trick at Windsor last month. He represents a yard that are well versed in handling similar types, again making all and drawing clear in the final furlong in the style of one who remains with handicapping scope. The handicapper has reacted by putting him up 8 lb in the weights, but that may still underestimate him and the four-timer beckons.
