"...he is improving with each run..."

Timeform on Urban Hero

16:50 - URBAN HERO (4) improved on his debut run to split two subsequent winners at Newcastle in September, and further advertised the strength of that form when forging clear to land a minor event at Lingfield recently. He is improving with each run and, with further progress anticipated, makes plenty of appeal off a fair opening mark on his handicap debut.

17:25 - QATAR QUEEN (5) was no match for a smart prospect when runner-up at Chelmsford in September but pulled clear of the remainder of the field and shaped with some promise. That is the best form on offer by some way in this uncompetitive fillies' novice and, though she failed to reach those heights next time out, she should still take plenty of beating here.

18:00 - PENARTH PIER (2) was below form when eighth at Kempton last month but she had her excuses after bumping a rival at the start and then racing wide. Her two wins have come on artificial surfaces, she is well drawn, on a fair mark and can go close. Reasoned is considered a leading threat as she has been running well of late and it shouldn't be long before she gets off the mark in this grade, following two narrow defeats at this course recently.

18:30 - CONCIERGE (2) has slipped down the weights of late and arrives here on a good mark based on some of his old turf form. He is having his first run for David Loughnane, who has a good record with hid recruits, and could go close here from a favourable low draw. KAMRA (13) shaped as if retaining all his old ability when runner-up on his first outing for Mick Appleby earlier this month and he has a strong chance. He runs off the same mark and should be involved in the finish if able to repeat his recent effort.

19:00 - CANFORD BAY (2) has a good record over this course and distance and can go close here from a favourable low draw. Antony Brittain's charge was a creditable second here off this mark recently and looks to have leading claims in a first-time hood. Boom The Groom has a good chance on the pick of his form and can give Canford Bay the most to think about if fully fit after a break.

19:30 - OUR MAN IN HAVANA (3) had his first run for Tony Carroll at this venue earlier this month and attracted plenty of support but he failed to meet expectations. However, he finished lame with cuts to his legs, so can be forgiven that effort, and he may be capable of bouncing back and proving he is well handicapped.

20:00 - USANECOLT (8) showed improved form when third here on his return from an 11-month break, and he ran better than the bare result would suggest, taking into account a wide trip from out the back. He showed enough to think he can win a low-grade handicap and is far less exposed than a lot in this contest. He should strip fitter for his reappearance and makes plenty of appeal.

20:30 - ENMESHING (2) built on his recent form to end a long losing run earlier this month and looks capable of defying a 5 lb rise to make it back-to-back victories at this track. This race looks no more competitive than the one he landed at the weekend.
