17:25 - THORNABY PRINCESS (7) is only a modest mare but she arrives in top form, which counts for plenty in this sort of company, so she's well capable of notching up her second success of the campaign from a handy draw. Lord of The Glen and One One Seven are feared most, acknowledging neither of them ran particularly well last time.

17:55 - AMAZON PRINCESS (9) could be worth chancing in this second leg of the Placepot, representing the Archie Watson yard that has a 23% strike rate with its runners at Wolverhampton. She was prominent in the betting prior to finishing well held on her debut in the spring, suggesting better was expected, and it would be no surprise if she had more to offer now down in grade for her return with first-time blinkers added. Bezzas Lad's form puts him firmly in the mix, while Amnaa is also respected as the sole previous winner in the line-up.

18:20 - CONSEQUENCES (4) offered more encouraging signs when third at Chelmsford last time and may be capable of resuming winning ways from his much-reduced mark if showing up in similar form, now 5 lb lower than when recording his last win at Newcastle in October 2018. The unexposed Zahee is a possible big threat with Oisin Murphy coming down from Ayr to take the ride, while Holdenhurst completes the shortlist.

18:50 - IMAGE OF THE MOON (4) has flourished since being partnered by Cieren Fallon of late, landing back-to-back 1m Kempton handicaps last month. She can complete the hat-trick with a tongue tie added to the usual cheekpieces. Visionara and Warning Fire both need to dispel lesser efforts on their most recent starts but are feared, while Made of Honour is worth a market check on her first start for David Loughnane, who is well capable of readying one after a break (£37.50 level-stakes profit).

19:20 - AXE AXELROD (3) is a course winner who wasn't disgraced in a competitive race at Haydock a fortnight ago, and taking on much weaker opposition in this penultimate leg of the Placepot, he could prove to be the answer for the in-form Michael Dods yard. Sharp Talk is worth another chance back at this trip having possibly found the race coming too soon at Kempton, while Ariette du Rue is also respected on handicap/stable debut with Oisin Murphy booked.

19:50 - YA HAYATI (7) makes plenty of appeal on paper for an excellent yard and could be up to the job on debut under William Buick, who has a 38% strike rate when riding favourites. Shandoz and Trumpet Man have both made promising starts to their careers and should be winning races soon enough.

20:20 - BALLYMOUNT (4) is unproven at this trip, but he's potentially thrown in on old form, so could be the way to go in an open-looking finale. Warning Light and Genuine Approval arrive on the back of respectable efforts and are also shortlisted.
