"He remains unexposed and should be capable of winning a race of this nature..."

Timeform on Dazzling Darren

12:50 - AUCHTERARDER (1) made a winning debut at Beverley in May, but presumably had a setback after, given she didn't make the track again for six months. However, she shaped well and showed she retains plenty of ability at Southwell earlier this month, and she looks the one to beat under a penalty breaking from a good draw in stall 4.

13:20 - Schumli will look well treated if turned out quickly under a penalty following her win over seven furlongs here on Saturday evening, but it could be worth chancing DAZZLING DARREN (9), who reacted well to first-time cheekpieces on handicap debut at Kempton last time. That was his first run for eight weeks, and he shaped better than the bare result, too, hampered early and short of room two furlongs from home. He remains unexposed and should be capable of winning a race of this nature.

13:50 - DESERT CARAVAN (1) made a good impression when making a winning debut at Newcastle earlier this month and is taken to defy a penalty now. Admittedly, that wasn't the deepest race, but he won with much more in hand than the one and a half length margin suggests, overcoming greenness and an emphasis on speed. He boast a good middle-distance pedigree, and will improve further when going up in trip next year, but this race seemingly hasn't much depth to it and he should be able to defy a penalty.

14:20 - Backing STEAL THE SCENE (11) clearly comes with risks attached given his losing run stretches back to November 2015, but he is definitely in better form than his recent form figures suggest, and holds sound claims back at seven furlongs. He was stretched by the longer trip here in October, and can have a line put through his latest run at this course when getting no room and finishing with running left. This mark is very workable and he stands out in an open affair.

14:50 - This race has a different look to it now that Cwynar has been declared a non runner, and it is TRAVELLER (7) who makes the most appeal now. Admittedly, his losing run stretches back to February 2017, but he has been in form for a while now, and this doesn't look the strongest race of its type.

15:20 - I'M AVAILABLE (11) didn't get home over the mile and a quarter trip in heavy ground at Newbury last time, but she was in good form prior to that, and was impressive when winning a maiden on the all-weather at Kempton earlier in the year. She has been handed a nice draw in stall 6 here and is fancied to fare much better now with conditions more in her favour.

15:50 - A chance is taken on INGLEBY MACKENZIE (6), who shaped as though returning to form on his latest start in this sphere at Dundalk in September. Down another 2 lb, the five-year-old is lurking on a dangerous mark. Foresee has to be feared on the back of his recent Kempton success and Royal Dancer also enters calculations. Bird To Love opened her account a fortnight ago, but has more on her plate this time.
