Timeform take you through the card at Leicester on Wednesday...

17:40 - CHETAN (4) looks the most solid suggestion in a field of inconsistent horses. His last run came in a stronger race than the one he faces here and considering he made his effort early that day, the drop in trip looks a good move. He should run well with conditions to suit here. The biggest threat could come from Rock In Society with headgear reapplied.

18:10 - The form between Global Spirit and Esprit De Corps looks strong and with the former on a good run of things, he can confirm the placings, but the main danger may come from REAL SMOOTH (5) on handicap debut. He takes on his elders in a handicap for the first time in his career and looks to be on a feasible mark to be competitive from. He has dropped in trip to six furlongs the last twice and the step back up to seven here looks to be just what he needs.

18:40 - Izvestia would have burnt a lot of fingers last time when beaten in a similar contest and she isn't one for maximum faith here and can be opposed with COLONEL SLADE (3) . He didn't progress on handicap debut last time but his penultimate start at Bath was enough to suggest he can win a contest like this, with him clear on our weight-adjusted ratings.

19:15 - QUICKSAND (2) produced a below-par effort last time, suggesting that she didn't stay a mile and six furlongs. The drop back to a mile and a half here, where she has some solid form to her name, looks set to suit. She would have finished closer on her handicap debut when the pace wasn't strong enough for her to be seen to best effect and with her racing off 1 lb lower here, she can register the second win of her career.

19:45 - It would be a shock if RICOCHET (2) doesn't take all the beating here with connections having found him a perfect opportunity for him to shed his maiden tag now dropping in trip. His competitors have little worthwhile form between them and the newcomer Oh So Nice could pose the biggest threat.

20:20 - Perfect Grace went some way to fulfilling her promise when winning at Bath last time out but FRAGRANT BELLE (2) may improve past her now tackling a mile and a quarter for the first time. She has run with credit on both her previous two starts at a mile and a half where she has challenged the principals a furlong out before her stamina seemed to run out. She has course form to her name and can run well under conditions she enjoys.

20:50 - ALICIA DARCY (1) has turned a corner since fitted with blinkers and she can register the hat-trick here over this trip. She carries a penalty for last week's win and is 3 lb well-in with the official handicapper. The biggest threat may come from Montalvan, who carries a penalty for his success on Saturday but is obviously in good form.
