Timeform take you through the card at Southwell on Wednesday...

"...he scooted clear that day, and looks set to make a better chaser than hurdler and can strike again under a penalty."

Timeform on Mcgroarty

14:20 - MCGROARTY (3) probably didn't beat much on his debut over fences at Huntingdon last week, but he scooted clear that day, and looks set to make a better chaser than hurdler and can strike again under a penalty. The Dubai Way is an interesting chase debutant and is feared most.

14:50 - MARINERS MOON (7) left his chasing debut form well behind when a close second at Warwick, emerging with credit in a well-run race given his lack of experience in this sphere, and he should go well again if seeing out the longer trip. Torhousemuir is a big threat if his latest run can be forgiven, while Presenting Berkley is capable if in the mood.

15:20 - DISSAVRIL (2) ran to a much higher figure than any of her rivals in bumpers so should prove hard to beat if taking to this discipline. Chequered View is entitled to build on an encouraging third over hurdles at Worcester last month and could prove the main threat.

15:50 - SOLSTALLA (5) is a regular over these fixed-brush obstacles and arrives in good heart, so she's as persuasive as any of these in receipt of plenty of weight. Fidux really ought to be a factor at this level, while Forecast warrants a market check having undergone a breathing operation.

16:20 - This looks wide open so a chance is taken on OSCAR WORLD (8). Martin Keighley's mare has looked a work in progress in each of her qualifying runs and better can be expected now handicapping. Nicely Indeed, Black Anthem and Welcome Polly are others fancied to figure.

16:50 - With no form to work with, the vote goes the way of MEGAN'S CHOICE (3), who cost £45,000 last year and represents a yard with a good record in bumpers. Especially So hails from a successful family, while Filipine's dam won in this sphere in France.
