Timeform on Carrytheone
NAP: Carrytheone can land Concorde prize
Carrytheone ran out an impressive winner of a minor event at Gowran Park two weeks ago, staying on strongly in the final furlong to land the spoils by three and a half lengths. That was a smart performance and he's still lightly raced, so it's not out of the question that he may yet have more to offer. He acts well on soft going and is fancied to take the step up in grade here in his stride to record the fourth success of his career.
NEXT BEST: Ahandfulofsummers fancied to score
Ahandfulofsummers was out of her depth in the Irish Oaks at the Curragh last time, but she is clearly capable of fairly useful form on her day, as she showed when placed in Group 3 company as a two-year-old. That form comfortably sets the standard in this maiden and she won't find many better opportunities to belatedly get off the mark. The fine form of the Fozzy Stack yard (73% of horses running to form) also gives cause for optimism.
EACH-WAY: Hot Bell has a big shout
Hot Bell took a big step in the right direction when fourth at Bellewstown last time, keeping on well in the final furlong to pass the post a little over four lengths behind the winner. She arguably shaped better than the bare result given that she came from much further back than the three who beat her. She can race from the same mark here and it will be interesting to see what she can do having given a good account on her only previous visit to Tipperary.
