Timeform on Tartan Skirt
NAP: Tartan Skirt can open her account
Tartan Skirt - 12:50 Curragh
Tartan Skirt shaped with plenty of promise when fourth on her debut at Punchestown last month, immediately running to a fair level. She was beaten less than a length in a bunched finish and the form is starting to work out well with the sixth winning next-time-out. Tartan Skirt certainly sets the standard in this line-up and, with further progress on the cards, she rates a confident selection to shed her maiden tag at the second attempt.
NEXT BEST: Tranquil Lady a likely improver
Tranquil Lady - 13:20 Curragh
Tranquil Lady stepped up markedly on her debut form when getting off the mark at Galway last time, forging clear in the final furlong to win by three and a quarter lengths in impressive fashion. That was probably just an ordinary maiden, but Tranquil Lady looks the type to go on improving, with plenty of talented performers in her pedigree (by Australia and a half-sister to the US Grade 1 winner State of Rest). She is fancied to take the step up in grade in her stride here to make it two wins from three starts.
EACH-WAY: Side with My Sister Sarah
My Sister Sarah - 15:05 Curragh
My Sister Sarah is a useful hurdler who still looks well-handicapped if carrying that level of form over to the Flat. She ran out a determined winner at Galway on her penultimate start in this sphere, looking a strong stayer as she edged ahead close home to get the verdict by a nose. She is 10 lb higher in the weights here but looks to hold sound each-way claims with Ben Coen booked for the ride by Willie Mullins, who is seeking his fourth success in this race since 2015.
