Cracking Destiny has returned to form since being reverted to fences, running well to finish second at Perth in August, before going one better over the same course and distance the following month, proving better than ever to win with a bit in hand. He is typically a strong traveller and his jumping looked in good shape last time, so he is taken to defy a 6 lb rise in the weights and follow up his recent success.

Dundrum Wood - 16:00 Kelso

Dundrum Wood got off the mark over hurdles at the second time of asking at Market Rasen last year, a positive ride and a longer trip showing him to better effect as he ran out a wide margin victor. He didn't progress as had been hoped from that point, but he was handed a stiff-looking handicap mark, and he did strictly run well when second at Fakenham subsequently. He has been sent off at odds-on three times already in his career, so he is clearly well regarded, and he appeals as the type to make up into a much better chaser, so looks worth chancing on his debut in that sphere.
