Timeform bring you the three best bets at Chelmsford on Thursday...
"...showed improved form to get off the mark on her most recent outing at Wolverhampton..."
Timeform on Farewell Kiss
Jacinth - 16:25 Chelmsford
Jacinth improved from her debut when third behind Alcohol Free at Newbury last time, always close to the pace and keeping on well to be beaten less than two lengths. That form could hardly have worked out better, with Alcohol Free going on to land the Cheveley Park and three other next-time-out winners coming out of the race. Jacinth will attempt to open her account here and rates very much the one to beat according to Timeform's weight-adjusted, with further progress also not out of the question (still low mileage). Looktotherainbow and Florence Street can battle it out for the minor honours.
El Salvaje - 18:00 Chelmsford
El Salvaje produced his best effort yet when narrowly denied over this course and distance 11 days ago, throwing down a strong challenge but unable to get the better of one dropping in grade. Still relatively unexposed, he can race from the same mark here and looks sure to take plenty of stopping if arriving in the same sort of form, representing the David Simcock yard that has enjoyed a good run of late (75% of horses running to form). Born A King was a comfortable winner of his most recent outing at Lingfield and is feared most under a penalty, leaving Molinari to complete the shortlist.
Farewell Kiss - 20:00 Chelmsford
Farewell Kiss showed improved form to get off the mark on her most recent outing at Wolverhampton, hitting the front a furlong out and sticking to her task gamely to land the spoils by a neck. The speed she showed there suggests she'll have no problem dropping back to six furlongs, and it will be disappointing if she can't mount a bold follow-up bid from only 3 lb higher, with the booking of William Buick also catching the eye. Qaaraat and Dors Toyboy are fancied to emerge as the chief threats.
