Timeform take you through the card at Newbury on Saturday...
"...posted his best effort yet when winning at Ayr on his handicap debut..."
Timeform on Elvis Mail
12:05 - FLORESSA (3) showed useful form in bumpers in the spring and has quickly reached a similar level over hurdles, winning comfortably at Worcester before being edged out by Silver Forever over course and distance earlier this month. The two meet again here but Floressa is 3 lb better off so she gets the vote to reverse the form and regain the winning thread.
12:40 - RESERVE TANK (1) won the Mersey Novices' Hurdle at Aintree and the Champion Novice Hurdle at Punchestown, and has made a good start to life as a chaser, shaping with plenty of promise on his debut at Chepstow last month only to be found out by a lack of fitness. The Colin Tizzard-trained five-year-old improved on that performance next time when landing the Rising Stars Novices' Chase at Wincanton and he can defy a penalty to follow up here.
13:15 - JERRYSBACK (1) twice finished runner-up at Grade 2 level last season and shaped much better than the result in the National Hunt Chase at the Cheltenham Festival on his final start of the campaign as he clearly failed to stay in an attritional race. His opening mark looks a fair one and the lightly-raced chaser can prove a class above his rivals here.
13:50 - PRIDE OF LECALE (17) looked better than ever on his return at Market Rasen earlier this month, quickening clear from two out to score readily. He remains open to progress - that was just his fourth start over hurdles and first since undergoing a wind operation - and, with Fergal O'Brien's horses in top form, he is expected to make an impact at this higher level.
14:25 - ELVIS MAIL (4) is a horse on the up and posted his best effort yet when winning at Ayr on his handicap debut earlier this month. The five-year-old won by three and a half lengths and his strong-travelling style suggests there could be plenty more to come.
15:00 - CABARET QUEEN (14) makes plenty of appeal for Willie Mullins, who took this race with Total Recall in 2017. The seven-year-old ran out an easy winner of the Muster National at Limerick last month on just her second start for Mullins, and, with the prospect of a good deal more to come for this yard, she is taken to defy a hefty rise in the weights.
15:40 - MAGIC SAINT (3) shaped really well on his first run following a wind operation when fifth in the BetVictor Gold Cup at Cheltenham on his return. A strongly-run race on testing ground over two and a half miles put too much of an emphasis on stamina, but this step back in trip should suit and he can go close.
