"...arrives here in search of a five-timer..."

Timeform on Lucky Robin

12:45 - TIMETOCHILL (1) looked a good prospect when winning her first two bumpers but was somewhat disappointing in the Grade 2 mares' bumper at Aintree on her final start last season. However, she shaped with encouragement on her hurdles debut at Huntingdon and built on that to score at Market Rasen, settling well under a good front-running ride from Adam Wedge and winning with plenty in hand. She is open to further improvement and is taken to defy a penalty.

13:20 - CHATEAU ROBIN (1) got off the mark at the second time of asking for Nicky Richards at Ayr last month and could kick on for his new yard now he's got his head in front. He probably didn't need to improve to break his maiden and a similar performance here should see him go close again.

13:55 - NEFYN BAY (9) looked a bit laboured last time in a race that didn't bring his stamina into play, so the step up in trip should suit him nicely. Donald McCain's ten-year-old has hit the frame in each of his last three appearances and is expected to be bang there again here.

14:25 - LUCKY ROBIN (5) arrives here in search of a five-timer and still looks to be on a fair mark having gone up only 5 lb for his recent Perth success. Brian Ellison's yard is in good form and a bold bid is expected from Lucky Robin.

15:00 - REMEMBER THE DAYS (1) started this season with a good third at Carlisle after acquitting himself well on the Flat, and can put in another bold showing here off just 1 lb higher. He is still lightly-raced and looks to be on a lenient mark here. Astute Boy chased home a potentially useful novice over course and distance earlier this month and will be a big danger to the selection if able to build on that.

15:30 - GRAND ENTERPRISE (9) was in good order over the summer, hitting the frame at Southwell and Market Rasen, and wasted no time getting back on track when second in a Carlisle handicap in October. His latest effort is easily excused as he failed to handle the testing conditions, but this should be much more to his liking and he is well worth another chance to get back to winning ways.
