Timeform take you through the card at Stratford on Monday...

"...he is taken to defy top weight and win again."

Timeform on Robert's Star

14:15 - UNSAFE CONDUCT (3) showed much-improved form when pushed out to win a 17-runner handicap at Newton Abbot in May, and he can strike again with further progress likely. Stop Talking and Malangen should have more to offer now venturing into handicaps, while it's too soon to be writing off Come On Charlie.

14:45 The second race on the card is essentially a match between BAGS GROOVE (1) and Jenkins. There wasn't much between them over hurdles but Bags Groove has already shown an aptitude for this sphere so shades the vote.

15:20 - An open heat, but SIR MANGAN (4) is chanced to come out on top given that this represents a drop in class, and that he also has a good record when fresh. Sleep Easy was a solid third at Newton Abbot last month and is respected, whilst Vive Le Roi is another likely candidate.

15:50 - ROBERT'S STAR (1) arrives in top form and remains unexposed in this sphere after just a handful of starts, so he is taken to defy top weight and win again. Hat-trick seeking Roll The Dough is another to consider, while the veteran What A Laugh is still going strong.

16:25 - Lightly-raced FINLEY'S EYES (2) was much improved when last seen at Warwick at the end of May and likely has more to give. Lungarno Palace is back with a former stable, and sets a decent standard for a race like this, while Rouge Vif has to be respected also given the level of form he achieved when making a winning debut in a bumper back in March.

16:55 - CILLIAN'S WELL (6) didn't beat much at Southwell on Wednesday, but he dispatched them with the minimum of fuss and is the one to beat under a penalty. Lillington also tasted success last time and is second choice, ahead of Dr Dunraven.

17:30 - FLASH THE STEEL (1) landed the odds without too much fuss at Southwell in March and is likely up to conceding a penalty. The Irish bumper Tight Call finished third in worked out well and he's since moved to Tim Vaughan, while Flemenco Tempo is an interesting newcomer.
