"...could now be ready to take advantage of a mark 12 lb lower than when recording her last win..."

Timeform on Bint Dandy

16:40 - The return to this trip is unlikely to be an issue for TWILIGHTING (12), who posted just about her best effort yet when runner-up over five furlongs here last time, in turn finishing clear of Jaganory in third. If able to build on that, Henry Candy's charge will have every chance of going one better in a race lacking depth. Catapult is the clear main danger on the back of his recent Chelmsford success, while Miss Gradenko cannot be totally discounted, either.

17:10 - It's hard to get away from PEPPER BAY (10), who made a promising start to her career when forcing an odds-on shot to dig deep over C&D three weeks ago. That form comfortably sets the standard in this line-up, and with improvement on the cards, she looks a good bet to get off the mark at the second attempt for the Archie Watson yard that excels with its runners at this venue (22% strike rate). Stablemate Quiet Word failed to live up to market expectations at Nottingham in May, but she's clearly thought capable of better and is well worth another chance. However, on this occasion Populaire and Qasbaz may provide most resistance.

17:40 - ROSARNO (5) failed to land a gamble starting out for this yard back from a break at Hamilton, but that was nevertheless his best effort for a while and these favourable terms present him with a good opportunity to resume winning ways, with blinkers replacing the cheekpieces he wore last time. The hint should be taken if he is again strong in the betting, while Clipsham Tiger's latest effort at Beverley suggests that he could be the one to give the selection most to do, with Cat Royale and Incredible Dream appealing most of the remainder.

18:10 - IMPATIENT (7) isn't obviously well treated and made little impression on his nursery debut at Lingfield two weeks ago, but he is well bred (dam was a listed winner) and could be worth chancing for Placepot purposes here, in the hope that the first-time visor brings about some improvement. Ralph Beckett's superb record when fitting headgear for the first time certainly inspires confidence in that regard (£45.46 level-stakes profit), while it's fair to say that the yard could hardly be in better form following a four-timer at Newmarket on Saturday. Blausee improved when opening her account at Yarmouth and is feared most from 5 lb higher, along with Incinerator and Cheat.

18:40 - There may well be more to come from KHUZAAM (5), who shaped well when returning from a break at Yarmouth. That was also his first run following a wind operation, and, back over the same C&D as when shedding his maiden tag last December, this lightly-raced colt makes plenty of appeal from what remains a potentially lenient mark. Exec Chef is edging down the weights and is feared greatly back on the all-weather, while Trolius is another to consider for the Simon Crisford yard that has an excellent record when sending only one runner to a meeting (£94.90 level-stakes profit).

19:10 - The vote in this concluding leg of the Placepot goes to BINT DANDY (3), who has been knocking on the door in recent weeks and shaped better than the bare result when fourth at Lingfield last time, doing well under the circumstances to be beaten only two and a quarter lengths after being left with too much to do. She is slowly coming to boil on that evidence and could now be ready to take advantage of a mark 12 lb lower than when recording her last win. The handicapper has also shown Roman Spinner some sympathy and she is respected despite the wide draw. Devils Roc and the consistent Sonnet Rose complete the shortlist.

19:40 - GARTH ROCKETT (1) has been given some respite by the handicapper (currently 7 lb lower than for his latest success at Lingfield last November) and looks the way to go following a couple of solid efforts in defeat here this month. It's still early days where Sagittarian Wind is concerned and she is feared most ahead of Agent of Fortune.

20:10 - MAISIE MOO (7) wasn't disgraced over a mile here when last seen in August and could be the answer to the finale now dipping into 0-55 company. Mabo arrives here in decent form and should have a big part to play. Global Acclamation and Cottingham are others to consider, while Rock In Society will also be a threat if on a going day.
