Timeform take you through the card at Kempton on Thursday evening...
"...her latest effort was her best yet and she can take another step forward..."
Timeform on Chicago Doll
17:00 - STONY LOOK (14) shaped well on her debut and should take a big step forward with the benefit of experience under her belt. Runners from the Andrew Balding yard tend to progress from their first outing and Stony Look offered enough to work with, making some late headway and keeping on gradually. Never In Red improved for the step up to seven furlongs at Brighton last time and appears to be the main danger.
17:30 - SMOKEY BEAR (1) has improved with each run and got off the mark at Newbury last time. That performance was backed up by a decent effort on the clock and, with the prospect of further improvement to come, he stands out as the one to beat. There are some interesting, unexposed types in this race, notably Great Image, who ran well at Catterick last time despite not looking like the finished article.
18:00 - PREMIER POWER (3), a 300,000 guineas yearling purchase, is clearly held in high regard as he was sent off evens on debut and he produced a promising performance to split two subsequent winners. Premier Power looked in control inside the final furlong but was collared on the post, and he ought to gain compensation.
18:30 - ROCHFORD (8) probably would have won at Newcastle last time had he been sent for home a bit sooner and he can make amends here. That was just his second start in handicap company and he certainly seems to be on a fair mark, while the step back up to a mile is no problem. Cieren Fallon is an excellent jockey booking.
19:00 - It's difficult to oppose KASBAAN (6), who is unbeaten in three starts on Polytrack and has progressed well for his new yard, winning both starts, including a valuable handicap over C&D last time. He is lightly raced for a four-year-old and remains open to plenty of improvement, particularly on the all-weather, a surface on which he is clearly extremely effective.
19:30 - DREAM CATCHING (7) goes well at this venue and won a claimer over C&D last month. He failed to run up to his best on turf on his only subsequent start but will be much better suited by the return to Polytrack and can launch a bold bid from a favourable draw in stall 2. Fantastic Flyer produced a career best when winning at Chelmsford, scoring in the style of one with a bit more to offer, and she appeals as the greatest danger.
20:00 - CHICAGO DOLL (4) won in convincing fashion at Wolverhampton last time, doing well to make up ground from the rear in a race not run at a strong gallop. She has won two of her last three starts, her latest effort was her best yet and she can take another step forward here.
20:30 - This is an open race but MISS M (8) finished runner-up over C&D last week and looks set to launch another bold bid. That close-up second was just about the best performance Miss M has ever produced and, with the William Muir yard continuing in good form, she has plenty to recommend her. The lightly raced Avenue Foch could yet do better and appears to be one of the main threats.
