Timeform take you through the card at Kempton on Monday...
"...she looks a sizeable filly open to further improvement..."
Timeform on Lua de Mel
16:55 - LUA DE MEL (1), whose debut win is proving stronger form than it initially looked, with the two that followed her home both very ready winners since, took a nice step forward herself at Newcastle last time to maintain her 100% record. She ran out an all-the-way winner in what was in truth, an uncompetitive event, but she looks a sizeable filly open to further improvement and should take plenty of beating in her bid for the hat-trick.
17:30 - SWISSAL (5) produced his best effort for a while when resuming winning ways at Chelmsford at the start of the month - the return to seven furlongs suiting him nicely - and ran at least as well back down in trip when runner-up at Kempton yesterday. He is only 3 lb higher than when scoring at Chelmsford and makes plenty of appeal provided this doesn't come too soon.
18:00 - FLY THE NEST (6) took a step back in the right direction when second at Wolverhampton last month, his best effort for some time, and looks to be nicely weighted here from just 1 lb higher. Tony Carroll's stable is going pretty well at the minute and his charge is taken continue his rich vein of form.
18:30 - GODHEAD (1) made a successful debut at the expense of a well-backed stablemate at Kempton in November, showing a decisive turn of foot to open his account in a manner that suggests he'll be living up to his useful pedigree. He ran at least as well at Wolverhampton last time when just edged out by another fellow John Gosden inmate and, with further improvement anticipated, he is taken to bounce back to winning ways.
19:00 - LORD P (6) came out on top in impressive fashion when getting off the mark at Southwell last month, and defied a penalty to follow up with something in hand when a ready winner at Kempton last time. He is 5 lb higher here but may still be ahead of the assessor and looks up to completing the hat-trick.
19:30 - VIBRANCE (3) defied a 5 lb rise for the second time to land a course-and-distance hat-trick last month, clearly relishing the two-mile trip whilst also showing she has a change of gear at her disposal. She is a straightforward individual who will continue to go well and still looks to be on a workable mark.
20:00 - PROMPTING (2) is gradually progressive and was found a good opportunity to get off the mark at Wolverhampton last month. Upped in trip on his handicap debut, he improved again and would likely have gone close had he not been short of room over a furlong out. He is well on his way to becoming a useful type and is one to keep on the right side of here.
20:30 - EMBER'S GLOW (2) has posted solid efforts in each of his three starts this term, running well again at Wolverhampton last time without really being able to make an impression on the winner. He looks likely to be in the mix once more and is taken to go one better in an open-looking contest.
