Timeform on Flinteur Sacre
13:20 - NOTRE AMI (5) ended last term out of form, but a breathing operation over the summer seems to have him heading back in the right direction and he's taken to build on his third at Fontwell from the same mark. Newbury-scorer Fair Kate showed a good attitude when winning a mares' handicap 6 weeks ago and looks sure to be involved again, while Homer and Mabela complete the shortlist.
13:50 - A clutch of interesting sorts but ex-Irish GLOBAL SOCIETY (1) looked a really good prospect when easily landing a two-mile novice hurdle at Doncaster last month and he can follow up with this step up in trip expected to suit. Ofalltheginjoints and On To Victory both have better days ahead of them too so should ensure Nicky Henderson's new recruit doesn't have things all his own way.
14:25 - NOT THAT FUISSE (1) matched his useful form over hurdles when runner-up on his first two starts over fences at Uttoxeter and Cheltenham in October. He was then somewhat disappointing at Warwick but shaped much better when sixth in the Caspian Caviar Gold Cup at Cheltenham last time, certainly showing enough to suggest he'll be of interest off a similar mark going forward, and he should be able to take advantage of this drop in class.
14:55 - IMPERIAL ELYSIAN (8) didn't get far on his chasing debut when departing at the first, but he got back on the up reverted back to hurdles at Huntingdon last month. In fact, he may have been value for a little extra than the bare winning margin as he twice met trouble in-running nearing the home turn. He is still unexposed and a 4 lb rise may not be enough to stop him going in again.
15:30 - TOUCH KICK (2) returned in better form than ever with an impressive win at Fakenham in October and wasted no time getting back on track when runner-up to the subsequent Sky Bet Chase second over this C&D last month. He is a big player off the same mark and can take advantage of this drop in class to resume winning ways.
16:00 - DUC DE BOURBON (8) was well supported in the market on his debut at Wincanton in December but shaped as though in need of the run for both fitness and experience. He is open to plenty of improvement with that outing under his belt, and the way he was backed that day suggests he is held in high regard.
16:30 - FLINTEUR SACRE (3) is a brother to Sprinter Sacre and attracted plenty of support on his debut, and duly showed plenty of ability amidst his greenness when runner-up at Newbury. He looks to have a very bright future ahead of him and should have no trouble going one better here.
