There's been significant support for Big Bear Hug to win the finale at Sandown this afternoon, now priced at 6.05/1, having opened up at 13.012/1 earlier today. It's worth noting the Betfair sportsbook is offering four places for this race.

Adam West's three-year-old is yet to get on the board after eight races, but after a respectable third last time out at Epsom, Betfair punters believe today is the day for Big Bear Hug.

This isn't the only the time she's finished in the places, having placed on the all-weather over at Kempton back in December last year, before also finishing third at Nottingham in May at 26.025/1.

Another plus is that she's proven she can perform over 1m2f, so today's trip over 1m1f is definitely within her reach and having clearly relished the heavy conditions at Epsom, today's softer surface is in her favour.

Meleri heads the market at 4.03/1, having won a Class 5 handicap at Newmarket three runs ago, before finishing second over today's track back in July.

Despite winning decisively at Newmarket, the softer ground is an unknown to the three-year-old today, which may be why Betfair punters are looking elsewhere for extra value.

Rikona is also at the top of the market at 5.04/1 after her success at Ffos Las last time out. With William Buick in the saddle, she will no doubt have her supporters once again.

However, she is already with her third trainer, which may indicate there she isn't the easiest horse to work with, and if she isn't in the mood, she may well not be able to follow up her latest success.

Despite not having a victory to her name yet, Betfair punters believe Big Bear Hug will relish the conditions and after a strong performance at Epsom last time out, there's every chance she can go one better this afternoon.
