Timeform take you through the card at Hexham on Sunday...

14:10 - SENSE OF URGENCY (3) showed a good attitude to come out on top over C&D last month and could be the way to go in a similarly weak affair. Cherry Princess is entitled to come on for her reappearance and may have a say, while the temperamental Kisumu has been given every chance by the handicapper, so cannot be totally discounted, either.

14:45 - NIETZSCHE (2) made a winning start to his chasing career at Perth two weeks ago, looming up on the shoulder of Caius Marcius two out and quickly putting that rival to the sword on the run-in, his speed proving the difference as the pair dominated (pulled 18 lengths clear of the third). Admittedly, this is likely to prove tougher, meeting the runner-up from last time on 6 lb worse terms, but it would be a surprise if he didn't prove capable of better still in this sphere, especially judged on his hurdling form (useful winner of last season's Greatwood), and the percentage call is that he'll find the necessary progress to uphold the placings.

15:15 - LORD WISHES (6) is well into the veteran stage of his career, but he showed himself to still be capable of fairly useful form when winning over fences at Cartmel last month, forging clear after the last to score by 14 lengths. That wasn't the strongest race by any means, but James Ewart's charge remains potentially well treated now reverting back to hurdles - he won over C&D from a BHA mark of 125 in 2016 - and a bold follow-up looks on the cards if continuing in the same rich vein of form, with plenty of encouragement to be taken from his most recent efforts in this sphere, too.

15:50 - SCHOOL LANE (2) deserves a win and has a good chance here if in the same sort of form as when second at Downpatrick last week. Classical Milano goes well at Hexham and should make a bold bid to win this for the second year running, having scooped another prize here last month.

16:25 - BOLTISSIME (11) should have little trouble making a winning start for new connections here, having demonstarted a fair level of ability for previous connections in France, form which he should be able to build on before too long. Winning pointer Youracert looks the main danger, also starting out for a shrewd stable, while Rukwa and Lord Roccoco are worthy of consideration, too.

16:55 - RONAVA (1) confirmed the promise of his reappearance/stable debut with a dominant victory at Stratford on Tuesday, drawing clear on the approach to the last and fully 20 lengths clear of his nearest pursuer at the line. The quick turnaround is a slight concern here, but he looks sure to take all the beating once again if arriving in the same sort of form, a narrow leader on weight-adjusted ratings (7 lb included) with the prospect of even more to come for the Dr Richard Newland yard that has excelled with similar recruits in the past.

17:30 - FATHER JOHN (6) stands out for a top stable in what's more than likely to prove a weak bumper, so he's a straighforward selection ahead of fellow-debutante Milanvera. Jerry Russell is the pick of those with experience.
