Timeform take you through the card at Haydock on Friday evening...
"He is fancied to make a bold bid to complete the 4-timer ..."
Timeform on Bartholomew J
17:45 - BARTHOLOMEW J (3) could hardly be in better heart, completing the hat-trick in good style at Yarmouth last month. He is fancied to make a bold bid to complete the 4-timer and gets the nod. Akamanto impressed with his attitude at Ayr recently and he is feared most, ahead of Luv U Whatever.
18:15 - An interesting heat. BEATBOXER (1) is open to plenty of improvement on the back of his Sandown debut success and gets the nod but strong market support for fellow expensive purchase Kadar, who holds a Group 1 entry, would put a slightly different slant on things. Mark Johnston's Summer Moon is also respected on the back of a promising debut second at Doncaster.
18:50 - BULLION BOSS (3) made an eye-catching debut at Ayr last month, producing a promising first effort and deserving extra credit given the way the race developed, finishing strongly but caught further back than ideal. He can build on that by taking this. Zoffee has hit the frame twice so far and is best of the others.
19:20 - DARK THUNDER (2) ran well at Doncaster last time and could have more to offer in nurseries for a local trainer/jockey combination enjoying plenty of success again at Haydock this season. Treasure Quest and Sword of Gold are a couple of likely dangers.
19:55 - Only 5 runners but they all arrive in form. The vote goes to DALSHAND (3) who has really found his feet again of late and still looks well treated based on the form he showed earlier in his career, but the likes of Cliffs of Dover and Paddy A should ensure he doesn't have things all his own way.
20:30 - An averagely-handicapped bunch, but CHERRY OAK (6) is pretty consistent and the style of her Newcastle win in June suggests she can land a race like this. Fumbo Jumbo takes a drop in class but isn't one for maximum faith, so Miss Dd is feared most.
