Timeform take you through the card at Goodwood on Saturday...
"She gets weight from her two rivals here and is fancied to pick up likely front-runner Cypress Creek late on"
Timeform on Maid Up
13:30 - EMERALD APPROACH (4) would have given the winner more of a race with a clear run on recent debut at Windsor, and the 12 lb she receives from More Than Likely may well prove to be decisive. Shaffire is the type to go on progressing and is perhaps best of the rest, though any support for the speedily-bred Quicksilver would look significant.
14:05 - ALTYN ORDA (8) had little chance with the leading three-year-old miler Alpha Centauri at Newmarket recently, but she beat the rest easily enough. She handles Newmarket's undulations well so should have no concerns with this unique venue. In receipt of weight all round, she's a value call against Beat The Bank, who ran well in the Sussex Stakes recently but may not hold quite the chance the market suggests. Zonderland was runner-up in this 12 months ago and is another to consider. Any rain would suit Stormy Antarctic.
14:40 - Plenty of well-bred fillies here. ANTONIA DE VEGA (4), a half-sister to Al Wukair, looked one to keep on side when making a winning debut at Newmarket in July, doing well to come from off the pace, and she is fancied to make a bold bid with improvement expected. 'Horse in Focus' Magnetic Charm is expected to pose the chief threat, ahead of Look Around and the stoutly-bred Posted.
15:15 - CHESSMAN (7) arguably shaped like the best horse at the weights in the International at Ascot last time, set too much to do and having to weave his way through the field, so he's worth a chance to land this before moving into Group company. Plenty of the main protagonists are drawn wide, including Cape Byron and Mankib, who otherwise have plenty to recommend them. A solid second string, though, is FLAMING SPEAR (1), who was also better than the result in the International. All of his wins have come in double-figure fields and he doesn't look handicapped out of things just yet.
15:50 - All three hold claims here but MAID UP (3) took a huge jump forward when just foiled in a Group 2 contest over C&D earlier this month and looks the one to beat. She gets weight from her two rivals here and is fancied to pick up likely front-runner Cypress Creek late on. The latter ran creditably when stepped up to listed class last time and is preferred to easy Lingfield maiden winner Ben Vrackie for the forecast spot.
16:25 - Three-year-old Lingfield winner STYLEHUNTER (4) acquitted himself well on handicap bow at Royal Ascot last time and is less exposed than most of his rivals here. He is fancied to resume winning ways. Monaadhil and Elusive Heights rate big dangers, while better is expected of Grand Equisitor having caught the eye when sixth at Chester when last seen in May.
17:00 - DARKSIDEOFTARNSIDE has shaped like a stayer all 3 previous outings, and with headgear likely to help him travel with a bit more purpose, he is selected to make a winning handicap debut. Last week's Newbury winner Dell' Arca remains with scope on hurdles form and is an obvious threat, with Just In Time completing the shortlist.
