Timeform pick out three bets from Friday's UK racing action...
"...he's worthy of another chance to defy a penalty..."
Timeform on Rockin Roy
Rockin Roy may have come unstuck at a short price at Ripon last time, but the form of his debut win at Beverley last month is very solid, and he's worthy of another chance to defy a penalty, with the jockey from that success Danny Tudhope back on board here. Ontoawinner and Karl Burke got the better of the selection that day and will be looking to do so again with the speedily-bred Barasti Dancer, while Yousini, another winning newcomer is worthy of respect.
Barbara Hepworth has made an encouraging start to her career so far, and was undone by trying to lead a highly promising newcomer when third at Goodwood last time out. She's well worth another chance judged on her debut form, and is fancied to get off the mark at the third attempt.
Chiswick Bey is sliding down the weights at the moment, with his losing run now stretching back by almost a year. However, he has been hinting that a return to form is on the cards, taking a step back in the right direction when third at Ayr last time. That effort was one of the most encouraging recent bits of form on offer in this field, and with his yard in excellent form, it's worth chancing him to pick this race up. Mr Cool Cash is a big danger from a handicapping perspective and John Caesar is one of few others to actually arrive in form.
UK Smartplays are up £161.40 since 1st January
