Nick Shiambouros returns to the tipping chair with two selections from the meeting at Ascot...
"I think he has a lot more to offer, and should have a successful autumn campaign"
Lord to deliver
Kamikaze Lord should prove difficult to beat in this novice auction stakes.
This colt caught the eye on debut when finishing sixth to Stash at HQ last month. He put in some solid work in the closing stages, and finished the race with good energy. This was a promising effort and should know a lot more with a run under his belt. At present he is trading at [3.1] on the exchange which is about right.
Finoah is winless in seven starts, but sets a fair standard. He has not looked the strongest in a finish, and may have to settle for a place once again. At present he is trading at [6.4] on the exchange.
Take Breden again
Breden is my idea of the winner of this intriguing contest.
This gelding bounced back to form when beating considered opinion at Newbury last month. He took the lead a furlong from home, and pulled clear to win with complete authority. I think he has a lot more to offer, and should have a successful autumn campaign. At present he is trading at [9.2] on the exchange which is more than fair.
Graphite Storm heads the market at [3.9] on the exchange. He finished a closing third to Squats on his latest start, and is the main danger to the selection.
