Nick Shiambouros returns to the tipping chair with two selections from the Sandown card...
"I think this likeable individual has more to offer, and the stiff five furlong trip should suit"
Time to live the life
I am going to take a chance with Life Of Riley in this intriguing Listed contest.
This colt finished a respectable ninth in the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot last month. He had a chance a furlong from home, but failed to quicken when the chips were down. He was not beaten all that far, and this was his best piece of form to date. I think this likeable individual has more to offer, and the stiff five furlong trip should suit. At present he is trading at [10.0] on the exchange which is more than fair.
Well Done Fox finished a place ahead of the selection in the Windsor Castle but is considerably shorter in the market at [4.5] on the exchange. He merits consideration, but his price is thin to say the least.
Stoute gelding ready
Mustashry should prove difficult to beat in this interesting race.
This gelding finished down the field behind Beat The Bank in a Group 2 at HQ last September. He failed to make an impression in the closing stages ,and finished well beaten. He is best judged on his previous effort when winning the Strensall at York. He has the form in the book to take this, and the stable is going well at present which is an added bonus. At present he is trading at [3.95] on the exchange which is about right.
Euginio is the current favourite at [3.25] on the exchange. He finished an excellent second to Monarchs Glen in the Wolferton at Royal Ascot last month. The first time blinkers clearly had the desired effect and should have more to offer.
