Timeform pick out three bets from Del Mar on the opening day of the 2017 Breeders' Cup.
"Bill Mott’s filly took a while to find her feet, but has been wildly impressive on her last two starts..."

Cupid - Del Mar 22:05
Mor Spirit and Sharp Azteca set the standard in the Dirt Mile, but both are unproven on the idiosyncratic Del Mar track, and a chance is taken on previous C&D winner Cupid. A decent pace looks on the card, with Cupid fancied to pounce late.
Mendelssohn - Del Mar 22:50
Mendelssohn is fancied to come out on top and provide Aidan O'Brien with a fourth winner of the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf. Fitted with first-time blinkers, Mendelssohn showed much improved form in chasing home stable companion US Navy Flag in the Dewhurst last time, a repeat of which would make him very much the one to beat here.
Elate - Del Mar 23:35
The main event on Breeders' Cup Friday is the Distaff, and this can go the way of up-and-coming three-year-old Elate. Bill Mott's filly took a while to find her feet, but has been wildly impressive on her last two starts, both in Grade 1 company. She is taken to get the better of Forever Unbridled and Stellar Wind.
