Nick Shiambouros returns to the tipping chair with a couple of selections from Lingfield...
"I think this race represents an ideal opportunity for him to record his first victory, and is attractively priced at 3.185/40 on the exchange"
14:05 Lingfield - Faintly
Faintly looks like the horse to beat in this selling race.
This Kitten's Joy gelding finished a very close second to Presumido in a handicap over this course last November. He looked the likely winner inside the final furlong, but was caught right on the line. He is making his first start for trainer Tony Carroll and should be ready to do himself justice.
He is the clear form choice and is fairly priced at 2.35/4 on the exchange.
The Tichborne could be the danger to the selection. He was not disgraced behind Berkeley Vale earlier this month and is a six time course winner. He is currently priced at 5.49/2 which is just about right.
16:45 Lingfield - Noble Peace
Noble Peace sets the standard in this interesting maiden.
This gelding finished fourth to Consulting at Kempton last December. He missed the break but, kept on in good style in the closing stages and finished the race with good energy. The extra yardage should suit this son of Kyllachy down to the ground.
I think this race represents an ideal opportunity for him to record his first victory, and is attractively priced at 3.185/40 on the exchange.
The obvious danger is Banish who showed promise on his debut when finishing second to Dommersen over this course earlier this month. He is entitled to show improvement, but I think the selection will be a tough nut to crack. He is short enough at 2.0811/10 on the exchange.
