Timeform pick out three bets from three different locations on Friday.
Fidaawy - 15:55 Ascot
Fidaawy needs to bounce back from a below-par run at Epsom last time (caught wide throughout and not knocked about when beaten), but his reappearance win at Doncaster prior to that was his best effort yet, and he is taken to and emerge on top in this competitive handicap now back on a more conventional track. It's not hard to make cases for Roger Varian's duo, Appeared and King Bolete, while Red Galileo is also of interest.
Calder Prince - 20:00 York
Calder Prince had subsequent listed winnner Lincoln Rocks behind him when winning at Haydock last time and a 4 lb rise for that success looks very workable, especially given that he won from 4 lb higher in the weights last season. Paddy Pilley takes a handy 5 lb off, and Calder Prince should go close to landing a double here. Kharbetation has had a few issues at the start but will be a likely big threat if he does go in the stalls, while Innocent Touch is a reliable type who is likely to be in the shake-up again.
Easy Wind - 20:20 Chepstow
This looks a good opportunity for Sir Mark Prescott's unexposed three-year-old Easy Wind, with the longer trip sure to suit after a very encouraging handicap debut at Ayr (didn't get much cover and was still green). Last year's winner Ring Eye lurks on a very good mark again and could well repeat last year's win in this, while Curtsy is another of the 3-y-os to note.
