There is Flat racing from Doncaster on Friday

Timeform pick out three bets from Sandown and Doncaster on Friday.

Royal Artillery - 14:20 Sandown

Royal Artillery progressed well last season, winning the Rose of Lancaster Stakes before finishing third behind champion three-year-old Almanzor and subseqeuent Dubai Millennium winner Zarak at Deauville in August. He looks just the sort his red-hot trainer will eek more improvement out of this season, and is taken to improve past the standard-setting My Dream Boat, who is expected to be one of the main threats along with Ulysses, who could also have more to offer this season.

Mondialiste - 15:30 Sandown

Mondialiste is a dual winner at the highest level in North America and although he needs to bounce back from a disappointing run in Dubai last time, he is clear of this field on ratings at his best now down in grade. Sovereign Debt arrives here in top form after landing a valuable event at Lingfield last time and could be one of the main dangers to the selection.

Fire Jet - 17:40 Doncaster

Fire Jet wasn't seen to best effect at Wolverhampton last time, having been forced very wide on the turn, and she is well worth another go at this sort of trip, with her form from last season (particularly at Nottingham on her final start) looking strong. Mr Cripps was strong in the betting on his belated return to action in a race that has worked out well at Leicester last time and he will be an obvious danger if building on his strong form from 2015, though he is obviously not the easiest to weigh up at the moment.

Timeform UK SmartPlays:

Win back Royal Artillery in the 14:20 at Sandown
Win back Mash Potato in the 15:05 at Perth
Win back Fire Jet in the 17:40 at Doncaster
