1.50 JGR British EBF Fillies' Novice Stakes (4) 7f

Timeform Top Rated
86p 8. QUEEN CONSTANTINE William Jarvis David Probert
85p 3. EMBRACE THE MOMENT Richard Hannon Ryan Moore
84p 6. MODEL GUEST George Margarson Luke Morris

Analyst's Verdict:
Those with experience don't set the bar that high so it might be worth chancing Godolphin-debutante Ceratonia. Teresita Alvarez and Just Be Friendly are other interesting newcomers in a race where the market is likely to be informative. Of those who've seen the track, the Ryan Moore-ridden Embrace The Moment is respected most.

2.25 Anders Foundation British EBF Crocker Bulteel Maiden Stakes (2) 6f

Timeform Top Rated
No ratings for this race

Analyst's Verdict:
A field of newcomers with the market likely to prove the best guide. A chance is taken on Production, who represents a yard that has won 2 of the last 3 renewals of this race and is likely to know his job. Power Link and Almania are others who make plenty of appeal on paper. No ratings for this race

3.00 JGR Brown Jack Handicap (3) 1m7f209y

Timeform Top Rated
105 2. MANCINI Jonathan Portman Richard Kingscote
105 6. ARAB MOON William Knight Jim Crowley
104 1. SPEEDO BOY Ian Williams James Doyle

Analyst's Verdict:
Mancini is a stayer heading very much in the right direction and might be up to defying the handicapper again. The consistent Alqamar is likely to be on the premises again, while Eye of The Storm didn't get the rub of the green in the Old Newton Cup and had looked back in better form prior to that.

3.35 Markerstudy British EBF Valiant Stakes (Listed) (1) 7f213y

Timeform Top Rated
119p 6. BESHAAYIR William Haggas Silvestre De Sousa
118 3. QUEEN OF TIME Henry Candy Nicola Currie
118 7. DI FEDE Ralph Beckett Harry Bentley

Analyst's Verdict:
Beshaayir and Preening stand out as upwardly-mobile types who could go even higher than this grade in time, but clear preference is for the firstnamed, who was most impressive in a handicap last time and is still very much unexposed at this sort of trip. Di Fede is another one with arguably more to come, so she's third on the list in an open race.

4.10 JGR Handicap (2) 1m3f211y

Timeform Top Rated
113 6. AUSTRIAN SCHOOL Mark Johnston Silvestre De Sousa
111+ 3. ATTY PERSSE Roger Charlton James Doyle
110 1. FIRST NATION Charlie Appleby William Buick

Analyst's Verdict:
Austrian School turns out before a 4 lb rise for his latest Hamilton listed second takes effect and he could have too much for this older opposition. Atty Persse got his career back on track when third in the Old Newton Cup and will be a threat if building on that, while First Nation was a model of consistency during his 3-y-o campaign and will also have a say if primed for his reappearance.

4.45 Neptune Investment Management Handicap (2) 5f

Timeform Top Rated
119 5. POLYBIUS David Simcock James Doyle
115 12. VENTUROUS David Barron Ben Curtis
114 7. EVERGATE Robert Cowell Gerald Mosse

Analyst's Verdict:
This looks wide open so a chance is taken on Venturous. On the back of a breathing operation, he looked an unlucky loser at Chester 2 weeks ago, finishing strongly having met some trouble entering the final furlong. His mark is a workable one on that evidence. Encore d'Or, re-united with Ryan Moore, and another last-time-out eyecatcher Polybius are just 2 possible threats.

5.15 Chelsea Thoroughbreds October Club Charity Fillies' Handicap (4) 5f

Timeform Top Rated
101+ 2. ISLAND OF LIFE William Haggas James Doyle
99 8. PROCEDURE Sir Michael Stoute Richard Kingscote
97+ 9. COTO M. J. Tynan Andrew Joseph Slattery (7)

Analyst's Verdict:
Island of Life would have been going for the hat-trick here had she not missed the break at Haydock last time, so she can get back to winning ways at the expense of Procedure, who looks firmly on the up now. Awesome is a reliable type and should give her all once more, but she's not as progressive as the aforementioned pair.
