Timeform pick out three bets from Fairview and Greyville on Friday.
"...a subsequent 10 lb rise may not prevent the hat-trick..."
Timeform on African Victory
African Victory - 15:15 Fairview
African Victory seems sure to make a very bold attempt at maintaining his unbeaten record here for trainer Tara Laing after two C&D wins in January and March. A nine and a half-length maiden win at odds of 6/1 was followed by a length and a quarter win on his handicap debut last time, not extended, and a subsequent 10 lb rise may not prevent the hat-trick.
Farland - 16:50 Greyville
Farland caught the eye when winning here at the beginning of the month, running on strongly after showing plenty of early speed. This is a lot tougher, but he is a typical Doug Campbell gelding who was merely learning his trade and with plenty of improvement expected, Farland can come home in front again here under jockey Anton Marcus.
Bravo Zulu - 18:00 Greyville
Bravo Zulu is still a maiden after seventeen starts but keeps on threatening the judge with nine places in total, finishing second over a furlong shorter here on his last two starts, beaten a length on each occasion. Both contests looked a fraction deeper than this on paper at least, and with the added furlong even more suitable for the son of Brave Tin Soldier, Bravo Zulu can come home in front at last.
Win back #8 AFRICAN VICTORY in R8 (15:15 BST) Fairview
Win back #10 FARLAND in R2 (16:50 BST) Greyville
Win back #1 BRAVO ZULU in R4 (18:00 BST) Greyville
South Africa SmartPlays are up £119.30 since 1st April
