The Punchestown Festival continues on Friday

Timeform pick out three bets from Day 4 of the Punchestown Festival on Friday, including one in the Punchestown Champion Hurdle.

"He found extra late on there having blundered at the last when in control and may yet have more to offer."

Timeform on Pallasator

Kemboy - 16:20 Punchestown

The unexposed KEMBOY didn't get very far in the Irish Grand National at Fairyhouse but quickly got back on the up when winning a Grade 3 at Limerick two weeks ago and remains on a good mark back in a handicap. Bel Ami de Sivola got off the mark over fences with a career best at Fairyhouse and is another to consider, while Tombstone was eight lengths behind the selection at Limerick but is 8 lb better off now.

Melon - 17:30 Punchestown

MELON proved himself top class in this division when only just denied by Buveur d'Air in the Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham and - having displayed a good turn of foot there - is preferred to leading novice Samcro at the forecast odds. The unbeaten Samcro could prove to be a class above, however this is his first start outside of novice company. Last year's winner Wicklow Brave is best of the others.

Pallasator - 18:05 Punchestown

A number of these arrive on the back of busy campaigns, yet that can't be said for PALLASATOR who ran his best race to date in this sphere when landing a Grade 2 contest at Fairyhouse at the beginning of the month. He found extra late on there having blundered at the last when in control and may yet have more to offer. Delta Work ran a fine race over further here on Wednesday, while Getabird disappointed on the same afternoon but may be suited by this step up in trip.
