"There should be even more to come from her after just five starts over hurdles..."
Timeform pick out their three best bets at Kilbeggan on Friday...
Touch of Oscar - 16:55 Kilbeggan
Touch of Oscar took a step forward when third at Limerick at the end of last month and gets the nod here in what doesn't look the strongest race of its type with further progress on the cards. Noel Meade's Trappist Monk will be a threat with a repeat of his latest Wexford third, while Zaofu has place claims on the pick of last summer's efforts if ready to roll after a break.
Niccolai - 18:05 Kilbeggan
Niccolai won well back down at two miles at Wexford last time, showing much improved form and landing some nice bets in the process. There should be even more to come from her after just five starts over hurdles and this capable 7 lb claimer retains the ride, so there is plenty to like about her chances. Fairyhouse scorer Iknowwhereiamnow is feared most of the remainder, whilst Scotch Quay is seeking an impressive four-timer so can't be discounted, either.
Botani - 20:10 Kilbeggan
Botani was far from disgraced on debut in the face of a stiff task in Grade 2 company at Leopardstowm on February, and shaped with plenty of promise to finish fourth, so she will surely take some stopping down in class now. Centaur ticks a lot of boxes on paper so is a newcomer to note, with Ennemi Public of some interest on her opening effort.
