Nick Shiambouros returns to the tipping chair with a selection from Doncaster and one from the big race at Newbury...
"He has held his form well over the years, and his conditioner believes he will be just as effective back over the smaller obstacles"

12:20 Doncaster - Our Reward
Our Reward could upset the short priced favourite in this interesting race.
This gelding finished fifth to the progressive Geordie Des Champs at Aintree earlier this month. He attempted to make all, but was easily brushed aside by the winner on the run to the last.
I think he is better than the bare result suggests, and his talented pilot claims a valuable 5lbs. He is currently trading at 3.9 on the exchange which is more than fair.
The Unit is the odds on favourite at 1.9310/11. He finished third to Herons Heir in a handicap hurdle at Kempton earlier this month. He ran on well for pressure, but never looked like troubling the judge. The longer trip will undoubtedly suit him, but is way too short in the market in my opinion.
14:10 Newbury - Menorah
I am going to take a chance with Menorah in this fascinating contest.
This talented performer won the Supreme at Cheltenham back in 2010 and has not been seen over hurdles in over five years. He ran a cracker last time out in the Charlie Hall last month when finishing a close second to Irish Cavalier.
He has held his form well over the years, and his conditioner believes he will be just as effective back over the smaller obstacles. At present he is trading at 9.617/2 on the exchange and have backed him at that price.
Ballyoptic is the favourite at 3.052/1. He took a heavy fall at Wetherby last month but remains a high class performer with solid credentials. Hopefully he will be none the worse for his recent spill.
