He's fancied to get the better of fellow veteran Sandfrankskipsgo, who is bidding for a fifth C&D success himself after his win in January. Fareeq returned to form when runner-up at Wolverhampton last time and is also respected.

Amazing Red - Lingfield 15:50

Amazing Red ran with credit after a 226-day break to finish fourth at Wolverhampton 18 days ago, and with that run now under his belt, he's fancied to build on that by taking this with Frankie Dettori booked to ride. Maybe Today wasn't at her best last time but had a positive profile prior to that and seems likely to bounce back here, while last-time-out winner Exceeding Power is another to consider in an intriguing contest.

Magic Mirror - Lingfield 16:55

Magic Mirror proved better than ever when taking her tally for the All-Weather season to two at Kempton last month, showing her good attitude when battling to the line to fend off a rival over a mile. The extra two furlongs should suit, and considering that she rarely runs a bad race, she's fancied to make a bold bid to defy a 3 lb rise and go in again.
