"He really took the eye in the paddock beforehand, a tall, attractive colt..."

Timeform on Rayomnd Tusk

Alnasherat - 18:55 Newmarket

Sir Michael Stoute appears to have an exciting two-year-old on his hands in the form of Alnasherat, who shaped very well on his debut at Leicester last month. The yard aren't renowned for first-time-out juvenile winners, and he shaped as though he would come on plenty for the experience, having every chance in the final furlong but not at all knocked about, and he is expected to make significant improvement here. Godolphin introduce a trio of interesting newcomers, namely Quorto, Journey of Life and Handmaiden, and the market will likely reveal more about their chances.

Whitehall - 19:30 Newmarket

Several of these remain open to improvement, not least Whitehall, who responded well when coming from off the pace to collar My Boy Sepoy in the closing stages at Nottingham recently. The latter enjoys a 6 lb swing at the weights but Sir Michael Stoute's charge is getting the hang of things now and rates the type to keep on progressing, so is taken to come out on top again. Others to consider include Elhafei and Icart Point, while Taurean Dancer also enters calculations.

Raymond Tusk - 20:35 Newmarket

A very interesting minor event and Raymond Tusk's easy Newbury debut win marks him down as a smart prospect. He really took the eye in the paddock beforehand, a tall, attractive colt and he impressed by the way he finished his race, powering away from his rivals. There should be even more to come from him and he is expected to make it two from two. Loxley is a colt with lots of potential himself, and could prove the biggest danger, while the likes of Orange Suit and Star of Bengal could also have plenty more to come.
