Timeform pick out their three best bets from Dundalk on Friday...
"His sole win came at this course over six furlongs and he is almost certainly still on a good mark..."
Timeform on Royal Navy Warship
Royal Navy Warship - 17:30 Dundalk
Aidan O'Brien's Royal Navy Warship raced on the unfavoured side when sixth in a big field at the Curragh last time and is well worth another chance to show he's still on a good mark. His sole win came at this course over six furlongs and he is almost certainly still on a good mark. Early Call did it nicely enough in maiden maiden company last time and is respected, while My Good Brother arrives on the back of a pair of good runner-up efforts and ought to figure again.
Piper Bomb - 19:00 Dundalk
Piper Bomb left the impression she should have finished closer when behind Little Camacho at Down Royal last time, short of room over two furlongs out and again stopped in his run a furlong out. She can resume winning ways back at the scene of her sole success from what still looks a workable mark, her breeding suggesting she'll stay this far. Her old rival should go well again up 5 lb, while 4-time C&D winner War Room has to be respected back here after scoring at Bellewstown.
Cityman - 19:30 Dundalk
Cityman hasn't yet achieved what the likes of Rex Place and Coral Beach have in form terms, but he is open to more progress than those two rivals, and is fancied to open his account at the third attempt. He was keeping on when short of room in the final 100 yards, and his pedigree suggests he will be suited by this extra furlong. Rex Place is preferred to Coral Beach for the forecast.
