Zainhom - Jebel Ali 11:00
Zainhom has been running well of late and is potentially well handicapped off back on dirt. A previous C&D winner with a peak Timeform rating of 103 on this surface, he could well be a snip now running off an official mark of 85 (officially rated 97 on turf). Native Appeal produced a career best to win here 2 weeks ago and rates the main threat ahead of new stablemate Three Weeks, who showed useful form on the AW in the UK for David O'Meara and has a dirt pedigree.
Falcon Claws - Jebel Ali 12:00
A little out of his depth when sixth behind Laser Show at Meydan on UAE/dirt debut in January, Falcon Claws stepped up on that when fourth in a turf maiden at the same track last month. However, his pedigree is very much a dirt one, and he undoubtedly has a bigger performance in him on this surface. Although dropping a little in trip, the stiff Jebel Ali track should play to his strengths (by a Belmont Stakes winner), and he is taken to improve past the likes of Bedouins Boy and Midnight Deal.
Tapi Sioux - Jebel Ali 12:30
A good third to subsequent Al Bastakiya winner Emblem Storm at Meydan on her penultimate start, Tapi Sioux ran no sort of race in the UAE Oaks last time, but that was an odd race in which the winner romped home by a long way. She is best forgiven that effort and will take plenty of stopping returned to these much calmer waters. Varsha is fancied to provide the main threat ahead of Majhoola.
