Better was expected of MAGENS MOON last time on her return to the flat, but she was only one paced that day. A spell over hurdles may have taken the shine off her speed and connections have upped her in trip here to counter that. She should stay the distance today as she was keeping on at the one pace last time and the course form to her name from a couple of years ago shows she can handle the uniqueness of this track.

APPIAN WAY - 16:05 Killarney

APPIAN WAY ran well on handicap debut last time, finishing fifth in a large field, having been short of room two furlongs out when making his move and the handicapper has dropped him further to help his cause. It was his first attempt at a mile and a half that day and looked to have stayed it well enough to suggest he can win a race over the trip.
