12.20 Ladbrokes 'National Hunt' Maiden Hurdle (3) 2m69y

Timeform Top Rated:
137p 7. LOSTINTRANSLATION Colin Tizzard Robbie Power
136 2. ADMIRAL BARRATRY Nick Williams Lizzie Kelly (3)
132p 6. KAPCORSE Paul Nicholls Harry Cobden

Analyst's Verdict:
This looks a good novice. Black Op couldn't justify favouritism in a Grade 2 bumper at Aintree in April but his previous Doncaster win marks him down as a good prospect and he can make a successful start over hurdles. Lostintranslation was second over C&D last month and likely has more to offer, while World Premier and Simply The Betts are other promising recruits from the bumper field.

12.50 Ladbrokes Chase (Novices' Limited Handicap) (3) 2m92y

Timeform Top Rated:
157p 1. CYRNAME Paul Nicholls Sean Bowen
154p 6. CRIEVEHILL Nigel Twiston-Davies Jamie Bargary (3)
153p 2. DUSKY LEGEND Alan King Wayne Hutchinson

Analyst's Verdict:
Some very promising chasers on show and Cyrname could be the one to come out on top on the back of a taking success at Huntingdon last month. The really likeable mare Dusky Legend could emerge as the biggest danger.

1.20 Ladbrokes Novices' Hurdle (3) 2½m118y

Timeform Top Rated:
131 1. BEKKENSFIRTH Dan Skelton Bridget Andrews (3)
125p 4. BOSS MANS LADDER Ben Pauling Mr Alex Ferguson (7)
112 2. BILL AND BARN Paul Nicholls Sean Bowen

Analyst's Verdict:
Chef des Obeaux showed much improved form on his 2 efforts in France when runner-up in a strong bumper at this course in March, and he's very much one to keep on the right side now switching to timber. Santini and Robins Waters have both joined leading yards after winning their only starts in points, and warrant plenty of respect making their Rules/hurdles debut.

1.50 Ladbrokes Novices' Chase (Berkshire) (Grade 2) (1) 2m3f187y

Timeform Top Rated:
166P 5. YANWORTH Alan King Barry Geraghty
165p 4. WILLOUGHBY COURT Ben Pauling Nico de Boinville
160p 1. ADRIEN DU PONT Paul Nicholls Harry Cobden

Analyst's Verdict:
Last year's Neptune winner Willoughby Court typically showed a willing attitude to score on chase debut at Huntingdon last month, that despite not looking totally at home on the track. The return to this left-handed venue rates a plus and he gets the vote with progress expected. Yanworth, himself a high-class hurdler shouldn't be judged harshly on his Exeter spill and he is a serious threat.

2.25 Ladbrokes Open Handicap Chase (2) 2m3f187y

Timeform Top Rated:
164p 6. WILLIE BOY Venetia Williams Liam Treadwell
163 3. OLDGRANGEWOOD Dan Skelton Harry Skelton
161p 7. RIDGEWAY FLYER Paul Nicholls Harry Cobden

Analyst's Verdict:
Willie Boy has looked an exciting prospect when winning both his completed starts over fences and is one to follow. Ridgeway Flyer and Jameson have most potential of the others so are feared most.

3.00 Ladbrokes Long Distance Hurdle (Grade 2) (1) 3m52y

Timeform Top Rated:
190 5. THISTLECRACK Colin Tizzard Tom Scudamore
178 1. UNOWHATIMEANHARRY Harry Fry Barry Geraghty
173 4. TAQUIN DU SEUIL Jonjo O'Neill Aidan Coleman

Analyst's Verdict:
A fascinating contest sees the return of Thistlecrack, who dominated this division in 2015/16 and produced an outstanding performance for a novice when landing the King George VI Chase last Christmas. With positive vibes coming from the stable he is taken to make a successful return. Last year's winner Unowhatimeanharry scored on his reappearance at Aintree and is the obvious danger.

3.35 Ladbrokes Handicap Hurdle (2) 3m52y

Timeform Top Rated:
152 5. FORZA MILAN Jonjo O'Neill Killian Moore (3)
151 1. WHATAKNIGHT Harry Fry Mr M. Legg (5)
150p 10. BENEAGLES Alan King Wayne Hutchinson

Analyst's Verdict:
Almost certain to prove strong handicap form, with Beneagles selected to reverse C&D form with Whataknight and register a second career win with a visor expected to sharpen him up kept to 3m. Forza Milan and Boyhood demand respect, while market support for I Shot The Sheriff would also look significant.
