"...could be the type to rack up a sequence after her successful start for Dan Skelton at Newton Abbot..."
Timeform on Bold Image
14:00 - The former Suzy Smith-trained BOLD IMAGE (3) could be the type to rack up a sequence after her successful start for Dan Skelton at Newton Abbot and she can go in again here. Hermosa Vaquera retains plenty of ability and looks the forecast option, though any market support for La Paimpolaise on debut for Richard Newland should be noted.
14:30 - CHAPARRAL PRINCE (3) couldn't be in better hands and he looks the type to take well to hurdling after showing improvement on the Flat this year. Nordican Bleue is entitled to build on a promising start over timber at Worcester last week, while Mutanaqel and Angel of The North are others of interest, however a second selection goes to TWENTY TWENTY (8) who was well held in one start on the Flat but this half-brother to the high-class hurdler Supasundae should be suited by the forecast better ground here.
15:05 - SKINT (5) was back in the groove when last seen in the spring and can complete the hat-trick given his good record fresh. He is still well-handicapped on his old form and is preferred to Worcester runner-up Dark Invader who is the obvious threat.
15:35 - NOVIS ADVENTUS (1), as opposed to previously, promised all he delivered and produced a career-best effort when successful at Worcester last weekend and, with his rider's claim offsetting a chunk of his penalty, a repeat of that effort should see him firmly in the mix. Maquisard and Mellow Ben rate the chief threats, though McGroarty was well-backed when last seen in March and may yet have more to offer.
16:10 - The Martin Keighley-trained LORD CONDI (5) was well backed when winning his bumper at the track back in May and wasn't disgraced under a penalty next time, and is taken to make a winning start in this sphere. Desiremoi d'Authie and Weightfordave set a fair standard and need considering, too.
16:40 - Timeform 'Horse In Focus' DAWNIERIVER (5) evidently retains a chunk of her old ability based on her promising return to action last month, and given the mark she's fallen to, is surely capable of cashing in. This isn't a convincing bunch, and Cahill will surely do better on this second attempt over fences.
17:10 - MISS ANTIPOVA hails from a yard that can ready one in this sphere and she might be able to make a successful debut. Liz's Dream and Dorette carry penalties but ought to be competitive in a bumper that is unlikely to take much winning.
