We finish today's column with some high-class action at Chantilly

Today's Follow the Money comes from the meetings at Chantilly and Worcester.

"Volta comes into this race following a very impressive victory last time out on today's course and soft ground, this three-year-old filly will be ridden by top French jockey Christophe Soumillon and looks to have a very strong chance of making it four wins in a row with the step up in distance also in her favour."

Back Volta @ 7.613/2 in the 15:15 at Chantilly

Other Recommended Bets
Back Sabroclair each-way @ 11.521/2 in the 14:20 at Worcester
Lay In The Rough @ 2.56/4 in the 14:50 at Worcester

We start with our each way selection which can be found in the 14:20 2m4f handicap chase at Worcester where market outsider Sabroclair has been noticeably well backed this morning, from 16.56 in to a current 11.521/2. Although his recent form is not very convincing - he is a 15 race maiden - the market support suggests today may finally be his day. Cheekpieces have been added by trainer Richard Woollacott, he is back to two-and-a-half miles in a wide open handicap and looks an interesting contender given that significant market support.

We head next to our lay selection which comes in the next race at Worcester, a 2m7f novice chase at 14:50 where In The Rough has been negative in the market, drifting from 2.166/5 out to 2.3211/8. He fell short of landing a five-timer last time out following a seven-month layoff. Beaten a flattering 20 lengths that day as the winner was heavily eased towards the line, he looks sure to fall short again today with strong support for main market rival Kaki De La Pree. With all these negatives taken into account and the form of In The Rough's last race not working out at all, we expect him to find it very tough today and strongly suggest a lay bet at 2.3211/8.

Our last selection comes in the 15:10 1m2f Prix De Diane Group 1 where Volta has been strong this morning, shortening from 9.28/1 in to 7.613/2. This daughter of Group 1 winner Siyouni looks to follow in his footsteps with a win in the Prix De Diane. Volta comes into this race following a very impressive victory last time out on today's course and soft ground, this three-year-old filly will be ridden by top French jockey Christophe Soumillon and looks to have a very strong chance of making it four wins in a row with the step up in distance also in her favour. The market suggests a win bet in what is a very exciting race.
