Today's Follow the Money comes from Wincanton, Clonmel and Towcester.
"With the going heavy and many of the runners in this field starting to find form we are happy to oppose Sir Anthony Browne on his first start over hurdles."
Our opening selection is today's lay which is the Alan King-trained Sir Anthony Browne in the 13:25 at Wincanton. Having opened up at 2.41 he has steadily drifted out to 2.789/5. A beaten favourite last time out he faces stiffer competition here in his debut over timber. King holds a strong hand here and money for his other runner, Midnight Maestro, would suggest that he is the one to follow from that yard. With the going heavy and many of the runners in this field starting to find form we are happy to oppose Sir Anthony Browne on his first start over hurdles.
Today's back bet runs in the 14:25 at Clonmel where Monalee has been steadily supported all day into 2.226/5. He comes here on the back of an impressive second to Death Duty in Grade 2 event in Navan in December. Monalee drops back in grade today, and will have no issues with the heavy going. Has won a point-to-point on soft ground over 3m so today's trip should be no issue.
We head to the 15:55 at Towcester for our each-way selection where Try It Sometime has been the subject of heavy support, being punted in to 6.611/2 from 12.5. The selection has course form finishing second over this distance, while also winning over this trip on heavy ground in January last year, which he encounters today. Having dropped steadily in the ratings he is now 6lbs below his last winning mark and is expected to put up a bold show.
Lay Sir Anthony Browne @ 2.6813/8 in the 13:25 at Wincanton
