The markets have been reviewed, and all three of today's Follow The Money selections come from the meeting at Brighton...
Starting the day with a lay where Al Dallah has been uneasy in the market, easing from 2.8615/8 out to 3.39/4, in the 14:30. A progressive sort who stayed on well to finish third last time out at Lingfield may well be open to more improvement today, however the danger lies in Simon Crisford's newcomer With Pleasure. The market support for this well bred colt looks significant and with the yard having a 50% strike rate with their juveniles this season, With Pleasure looks the one to follow.
Next up we look at our first back Roxy Lane running in the 16:00. The early 22.021/1 has been swept up and is now trading at 9.417/2. This one has been on a disappointing string of form and has finished out of the places in her last seven starts. There are certainly some positives to look at though with this mare now being 4lb better off from her last win, which came over today's distance around this time last year at Newmarket. The gamble could be telling so the back is the call.
Over to our last back who has been supported into the favourite in the 16:30, Byrd In Hand has shortened from 7.413/2 in to 5.79/2. Something of a course and distance specialist over at Brighton having scored here over this distance three times. John Bridger's gelding has been a touch out of form of late but is on a 2lb lower mark from his last C&D success and should repay punters faith with another victory here.
