The markets have been reviewed, and today's three Follow The Money selections come from the meetings at Beverley, Lingfield, and Warwick...
Our lay of the day is Rios Cliffs in the 14:00 7f Maiden Stakes at Beverley, who has drifted out from 2.285/4 to 3.711/4. Rios Cliff looked a good prospect over 7f at Newmarket last month and is well bred but we feel this is still a little soon and there should be stiff competition from Jordan Sport and Media World in particular. Paul Mulrennan is on board for the Martyn Meade yard.
The first back bet is Altarsheed who runs in the 14:20 1m Maiden Stakes at Lingfield and has come in from 2.35/4 to 1.824/5. A relatively expensive yearling at 100,000 guineas and half brother to a decent list of winners, Altarsheed should have far too much class for this relatively modest field. Paul Hanagan rides for the Richard Hannon stable.
The final back is King Boru in the 15:40 3m2f Handicap Hurdle at Warwick who has come in from 7.613/2 to 4.03/1. There is competition from Vendredi Trois and Dr Robin in particular but Harry Skelton takes the ride for the first time for the Dan Skelton yard and we expect King Boru to begin to show decent form after a relatively modest and quiet recent past.
Lay Rios Cliffs @ 3.711/4 in the 14:00 at Beverley
Back Altarsheed @ 1.824/5 in the 14:20 at Lingfield
Back King Boru @ 4.03/1 in the 15:40 at Warwick
