Today's three Follow The Money selections come from the afternoon meetings at Kempton and Ripon...
We start things off with our negative in the 14:15 at Kempton. In this handicap we are going to oppose Mutamid who has drifted steadily this morning from 2.166/5 out to 2.68/5. This colt from the Ismail Mohammed yard does have a strong record on the all-weather surface having claimed its first win last time out at Wolverhampton which resulted in a 4lb rise. However we feel there is enough in the race to oppose him with Sands Chorus showing particularly good form having won two out of his last three including a win last time out also at Wolverhampton. All things considered we are recommending a lay.
Next up we are off to Ripon where we are backing Chancery in the 16:00 handicap. This seven year old gelding has been strongly supported from 5.59/2 in to 4.03/1 and he has excellent course form, having won here over this distance in April and also placed on two of his three other runs. He does like a bit of give in the ground so hopefully with some rain forecast that can only help his chances further, leaving him well place to improve on his great record here today.
Finally we return to Kempton for the 16:15 seven furlong handicap. Exchequer has been supported in from 7.206/1 to a current price of 4.77/2. This Richard Hannon trained gelding is back on his much preferred all-weather surface where he holds a record of 2 wins from 3, including over course & distance in May. He is without a doubt the stand out horse in this competitive handicap and we are confident he will go well today.
Lay Mutamid @ 2.68/5 in the 14:15 Kempton
Back Chancery @ 4.03/1 in the 16:00 Ripon
Back Exchequer @ 4.77/2 in the 16:15 Kempton
