Today's Follow The Money movers come from the meeting Sedgefield.
We start today's action with our lay of the day in the first at Sedgefield, the 14:00 3m2f Novice Handicap Hurdle, where Jimmy The Jetplane has been on the drift in this small field - 2.466/4 out to 3.02/1. Kim Bailey's charge has not won for over a year now and that positive came last April at Ludlow over hurdles, where the winning margin was merely a length. He has been runner up in his last four races this season and now switched to fences, stepping up in trip and wearing head gear does not automatically guarantee a win.
Next up is our solid back selection in the 15:00 2m Novices Handicap Hurdle, where Volvalien has received plenty of support this morning - 4.03/1 into 3.412/5. Brian Ellison's talented bumper winner made a promising start for his new yard when runner up at Huntingdon just three weeks ago, and improvement looks certain especially when one takes into account that was only his second start over fences. The only real danger looked to be Witness, a smart French Hurdler/Chaser but the Handicapper is not taking any chances on his British debut.
Finally we end the day in the 16:10 3m5f Handicap Chase where our each-way selection is Jac The Legend, who has moved from 8.07/1 into 5.95/1. Brain Ellison's seven year old has had a string of seconds next to his name but is very consistent and stands out in this field of poor form. We are hoping he can get the better of his stablemate and finally get back to winning ways.
Lay Jimmy The Jetplane @ 3.02/1 in the 14:00 at Sedgefield
Back Volvalien @ 3.412/5 in the 15:00 at Sedgefield
Back Jac The Legend each-way @ 5.95/1 in the 16:10 at Sedgefield
