Today's Follow The Money comes from the meetings at Punchestown and Warwick.
Our lay of the day is King of Aragon in the 13:35 2m Maiden Hurdle at Punchestown, a horse that has drifted from 2.0421/20 to 2.915/8. Ridden by Barry Geraghty for the AP O'Brien yard, on paper this has a good chance but we feel the ground will be against it and that Calin Des Ongrais and Swamp Fox will prove just that little bit too strong.
Our back bet is Oscar Sam in the 14:35 2m4f Handicap Hurdle at Punchestown. Oscar Sam has come in from 4.03/1 to 3.052/1 and is ridden by Robbie Power for Mrs John Harrington. The handicapper is not making things easy for Oscar Sam (up 13lbs) but he is a proven performer on testing ground and we think he will still prove too strong for the likes of Living Next Door and Inch Rise.
Our final selection is an Each Way bet on Merchant of Milan in the 15:10 2m4f Handicap Chase at Warwick, a mover from 16.015/1 in to 9.08/1. Winning may prove out of reach - his record currently stands at no wins from 13 starts - but there is a new trainer in John Flint and with Tom O'Brien aboard we feel Merchant of Milan is capable of being there or thereabouts this afternoon.
Lay King of Aragon at 2.915/8 in the 13:35 at Punchestown
Back Oscar Sam at 3.052/1 in the 14:35 at Punchestown
Back Merchant of Milan E/W at 9.08/1 in the 15:10 at Warwick
