Our first positive of the day is found in the 14:10 6f Conditions Stakes where Alben Star has been supported in from 14.013/1 to its current price of 10.09/1. Alben Star is no stranger to Lingfield and in particular this race, winning it on 2014 and finishing second last year. His latest two starts at Lingfield have been a little disappointing but we put this fact down to him being drawn in the car park on both occasions. Today's draw in stall five looks a little kinder. Alben Star's jockey David Nolan has a 23% strike rate around Lingfield and this is his only mount of the day. With all these factors in place we are putting Alben Star up as our each-way selection.

Moving on to our next positive and back selection we will take a look at Moonrise Landing in the 14:40 Conditions Stakes run over a distance of 2m. Trained by Ralph Beckett, Moonrise Landing has been supported in from 4.03/1 to 2.829/5. Moonrise Landing started her racing career off in winning style at Lingfield in 2014 but it took her till October 2015 before she got her head back in front again. Since then she has gone on to win another two races on the all-weather completing her hat-trick at Wolverhampton on December 15. With Moonrise Landing improving all the time we are happy to put her up as our back selection at 2.829/5.

Our negative selection runs in the 15:15 1m Conditions Stakes. Drifting out from an early price of 2.915/8 to its current price of 3.3512/5 Mindurownbusiness has been friendless. Five of the twelve runners met in this race last year with Mindurownbusiness finishing ninth on that day. Since then his form has improved, winning three of his four starts, but this race looks far more competitive with Captain Cat who won this race in 2014, Sovereign Debt who will be finishing like a train and came second in this race in 2015, and Captain Joy, who finished third in this race last year, all looking like strong opposition to this favourite. Our recommendation is to lay Mindurownbusiness at 3.3512/5 and make it a Good Friday for everyone.
