We start the day with our negative in the 13:30 1m Handicap at Lingfield, where Pacolita has drifted out to 3.1511/5 from a low of around 2.47/5. Sylvester Kirk's Filly by Paco Boy has notched up four wins from 17 starts so far, two of those being on her most recent two starts, at Lingfield last month and Wolverhampton this month. However, all of Pacolita's wins have been over 7f and she has always seemed to struggle with the extra furlong in the past. This four-year-old also has to content with Al's Memory, who was one-and-a-quarter lengths behind at Wolverhampton but had a bad draw that day and has had the tables turned today, making Pacolita look worth taking on today with the widest draw.

Heading to Huntingdon for our each-way selection in the 15:20 2m4f Novice Handicap Chase, where Ballybolley has seen steady support from 14.5 in to 8.88/1. This seven-year-old by Kayf Tara has had a successful career so far, winning three bumper races and two hurdle races from seven starts. This season has seen a change in code from Nigel Twiston-Davies's gelding, running over fences, and although not showing a lot of form Ballybolley has been improving on each start, most recently finishing fourth over 2m1f by 19 lengths. This has resulted in a drop of 4lb and if he can show some of his previous hurdles form Ballybolley is worth an each-way bet at 8.88/1.

Returning to Lingfield for our final mover, there has been noticeable support for Megara, in to 2.226/5 from a high of 3.55/2 in the 15:30 2m Handicap. From a stable well known for their gambles, this four-year-old gelding has been lightly raced so far, having had just five starts. It has taken until his most recent start for Sir Mark Prescott's runner to finish in the placings when coming second at Chelmsford over 1m5f, and today's support suggests Megara will improve for the step up in trip and gain his first success today.
