Today's Follow The money selections come from the meetings at Lingfield and Newbury.
We begin with our each-way bet which is Flood Warning in the 12:10 at Lingfield who has been backed from 7.26/1 into 6.05/1. The two-year-old filly makes her racecourse debut in this relatively uncompetitive Fillies stakes. With market rivals Cercle D'or and Lady Hester failing to impress thus far the race looks open for an unexposed horse to come through. The in-form Adam Kirby takes the ride and with the market getting behind her we expect a bold showing and hopefully a winning debut.
Our back bet is Drumacoo in the 14:00 at Newbury which has been well supported from 4.03/1 in to 3.185/40. The Oscar gelding steps into open company for the first time having impressed at novice level last season. It's a small but competitive field today, and all five rivals have claims, but our selection gets 7lbs from all but one of his rivals and looks the most progressive horse in the field.
Our lay bet is Adalane in the 15:00 at Lingfield who has drifted from 1.910/11 out to 2.747/4. The David Simcock-trained three-year-old arrives having tasted defeat twice recently, coming up short when well fancied on both occasions. Second favourite Touched by Love has been very heavily backed and he along with Pinkie Brown and Condamine should be more than capable of serving it up to the jolly.
